Doha airport is fabulous. I was in transit for nearly 4 hours outwards to Europe and on my return I stayed in Doha for 4 days. That was early Jan 2020. Many staff in the Duty Free SriLankan. On the outward leg Qatar Airways provided free meal vouchers and their lounge to stay for the 4 hours. The duty manager there was SriLankan too.

Vancouver airport though not massive has a nice decor and a pleasantness around it. Baggage cleared fast, friendly staff, close to the city.
