The news comes from the 2017 Passport Index, which ranks the world's passports based on their visa-free scores according to the number of countries they can visit without a visa (or by getting a visa upon arrival).Germany nabbed first place with a score of 157 in this year's list, followed by Singapore — which overtook South Korea to become the highest-ranked Asian passport — and Sweden in a second place tie at 156. At 155, third place was shared by Denmark, Finland, France, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, the UK and the US.
