I’m creating this thread to keep all of Brett’s programs in one place and for you guys to decide what you need. Also, I will explain through what each program works on and my progress throughout them. The first program is called Singing Success and this will improve ALL areas of your voice, it will work on your chest voice (speaking voice), head voice, and eventually mixed voice (where you use both registers of chest and head voice). If you are starting out, this will be the program to first start off with. This program will also teach you to relax, to find your true singing voice, and to sing with freedom without damaging your voice. Those of you that already have some foundation on your singing and want to work on other areas of your voice such as vibrato, Brett’s Mastering Vibrato program will definitely help. Vibrato is the oscillation of pitch when singing, used by ballad singers, opera singers, and many others to add a certain style and emotion to your singing. Vibrato is an important part of singing and is the difference between a good singer and a great singer. The third program, Mastering Mix, will work on your mixed voice. Mixed voice is the most commercial voice that recording companies want, this voice is the most desirable. Also, the mixed voice is what will give an individual freedom and range; this is the voice you want to use while singing. However, before you can develop a mixed voice, you must have a strong foundation on the techniques and the other registers (head voice and chest voice). So my recommendation before using this program is to go through the first program, Singing Success and then use Mastering Mix to perfect your voice. I have used all of these programs myself without any vocal coaching or lessons and I have been getting extreme improvements to my singing. When I first started a several months ago, I had no vibrato and a tone that was undesirable. Now, I have developed a powerful voice and can also use my vibrato at any point in a song. This is all from using these programs I am providing. So if you want to impress your friends, family, or complete strangers, stick to it and I can assure you that your voice WILL improve. I can’t count how many times people compliment and then say “I did not expect that from you” when I perform. People will start asking you to perform for their events, parties, and talent shows. So the order you guys should do these programs should be, Singing Success, then Mastering Mix, then Mastering Vibrato can be used after or in between these programs (if you need it, most people develop a vibrato just by going through Singing Success). Work on 1 exercise CD for approximately a week so you can do most of the exercises with ease, and then you can move onto the next CD.
