Earlier, LTTE's political mouth piece Thamilchevan was also killed in a similar pinpoint air strike on 02nd November, 2007. The SL Defence Secretary Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa earlier stated during a press interview following the killing of Tamilchlvaa that, security forces would continue to take on the LTTE leadership as their whereabouts were no secret to the intelligence services.</blockquote>
