Sarath Fonseka soon, political sources claimed.The politician had earlier planned to appear on the stage of Gen. Fonseka’s inaugural rally in Kandy on December 18. A leading Muslim politician had, however opposed the presence of this politician on that day as of his alleged association to a violent incident in the run up to the 2001 general election.Political sources said that everything had been arranged for the crossover of this politician on that day.
