She has won  multiple awards for her role in `Dabangg` including 2011 Filmfare award  for best female debut, 2011 IIFA star debut award female, 2011 star  screen award for most promising newcomer female and 2011 Zee cine award  for best female debut. Daughter of veteran  actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi will next be seen  opposite Akshay Kumar in `Joker` and `Rowdy Rathore`.PTI</blockquote>
