Well it looks like it is really heading for production judging by these press pictures from SonyAlphaRumors. According to the report, these are two new ‘lens-cameras’ – the Sony DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100.As well as a camera lens, they also incorporate a built-in imaging sensor, Bionz processor, Wi-Fi/NFC, SD card slot and battery. The lens has no controls on the device itself. It basically takes the best part of a camera and allows you to control it via your smartphone through NFC. The lenses attach magnetically onto your smartphone and apparently work on Android and iOS. <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/D.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D" data-shortname=":D" /><img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/D.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D" data-shortname=":D" />Two ‘lens-cameras’ will be arriving, one with the Sony RX100MII camera sensor and Zeiss lens, the second features a 10x zoom lens with 1/2.3 inch 18MP CMOS sensor. You can see the G Lens branding next to the camera lens and it’s interesting to note the silver aluminium frame on a black handset.
