Message: <blockquote data-quote="kmc madushan" data-source="post: 16926746" data-attributes="member: 341750">Sachithra unlikely to play against Pakistan<img src="http://sports.dailymirror.lk/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Sachithra-Senanayake-630.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Chances of star player Sachithra Senanayake being available for the three-match ODI series against Pakistan to be played in Sri Lanka are almost zero, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Cricket Committee sources told “Daily Mirror” yesterday. Senanayake is a serving an International Cricket Council (ICC) ban for an illegal bowling action and will require remedial action before facing a second test at an ICC accredited lab to be cleared to play international cricket. SLC has contacted Australian bio-mechanics expert Daryl Foster to get help for Senanayake and sources said that Foster could only offer the weekend of August 9 and 10 at the University of Western Australia lab in Perth to work with Senanayake on his action. Foster had reportedly advised SLC not to rush Senanayake who will now visit Perth and will work with Foster for a week to remodel his action. This means Senanayake will have to be in Perth at least till August17 and will then get a test date from ICC lab in Cardiff, Wales. The three ODIs against Pakistan are scheduled for August 23, 27and 30. SLC’s Head of Coaching Jerome Jayaratne will accompany Senanayake to Perth as SLC’s spin bowling coach Piyal Wijetunge had tendered his resignation to SLC yesterday seeking to terminate his contract with effect from August 1 to join the Bangladesh national coaching team.Source : Dailymirror</blockquote>
