INVEST ON QUARTS PROCESSING PLANT Background Silica (SiO2) is formed from the two most abundant elements of the crust of the earth, silicon and oxygen. This very common mineral, exists in a range of crystalline and non-crystalline forms. It occurs as quartz crystals in acidic igneous rocks such as Granite and Rhyolite, in hydrothermal veins and pegmatites. When these rocks are weathered and eroded, the quartz is often left as sand. Applications of Quartz Quartz crystals serve as the basic raw materials for a wide range of applications, including construction, glass, ceramics, refractories, silicon and ferrosilicon, abrasives, electrical and optical uses. Industrial silica sand, containing over 95% SiO2 is used mainly in glassmaking, abrasives, oil well fracturing, foundry sands and silicon and ferrosilicon production. A very small fraction of this is of sufficiently high purity to be suitable for the production of cultured quartz crystals and fused silica which is an an important material for the production of fiber optic cables. Rods and tubes of vitreous silica form the core or the cladding material for cables in communication systems that use light to transmit information instead of electricity . Main markets The principal sources of these raw materials are Brazil, USA, India, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, UK, Japan, Australia and Canada. Production process The physical treatment or “Silicon Dioxide purification”, physical methods such as crashing, super fine grinding, calcinations, electronic submicron processing, extraction and re-crystallization are being used to increase up Silicon Dioxide purity by removing contamination from quartz. This products can be used in crystal artistic objects, crucible for wafer growing, quartz pipe , optical glass , TFT-LCD , LED, SAW, oscillator, high pure glass, the nano-meter grain products used in cosmetic, chemical fiber resistance, bio- chemical products. The highly purified fine powder will be obtained for chemical treatments. Investment To produce 1000 tons of finest powder per month is needed an investment of about US$ 9 Mn Theed that the machinery required to produce quartz powder could l be completed installation by the 12 month as the maximum time length . Profitability At the rate of production of powder will be 1000 tons per month will involved in this process is US$9M, the projected income at the completion of the first 12 months production period will be approximately US$ 3.6M. Therefore, the return on investment will maximum of three years. plz cantact now radika 0713710333
