Only USA is buying its printed US Dollars with high interest rates.  Sri Lanka Rupee should be backed by Gold. Then there would be no inflation if money is not printed more then reserves. Country would not need to depreciate the Rupees. There is no point for interest rate since Gold standard banks do not need to pay any interest. Gold Standard is coming since Trump has weaponized US Dollars. Poor would not be poor due to devaluation since Currency would be backed by Gold. There is no inflation. We can restore dignity to Sri Lankan as a whole.
