Message: <blockquote data-quote="lkdood" data-source="post: 11158848" data-attributes="member: 92282">Sri Lanka has ordered health checks on all beauty parlors in the country after a lady died while undergoing beauty treatment.  The Sri Lankan Health Ministry said on Tuesday that raids will be  carried out from next month as most beauty parlors are not registered.  "The raids will be carried out in order to ensure those in  operation are registered and that they use proper equipment and beauty  products," the ministry said.  The ministry is to have discussions with importers of beauty products to ensure they are also registered and certified.  A 33-year old woman died recently after she visited a beauty parlor located just outside Colombo for facial treatment.  The lady died after suffering from an allergic reaction to the facial treatment, the Sri Lankan police said.
