A web report of the British Broadcasting Corporation's Sinhala Service said the Netherlands government had informed the country's parliament that it had terminated aid to a number of countries along with Sri Lanka. The report said aid to Sri Lanka and the African nation of Eritrea will be ended due to "the political situation" "We think it is very difficult to work in Sri Lanka because of the violence.
