Hi all, Just need to know the opinion on this. I am a SSE with over 7yrs experience and I have several products that I need to build. I tried working with few freelancers ( with about 2yrs experience ) and that didnt work well. Basically they charged big money for a shitty code generated with Ai. And never delivered on time. When I checked and asked about code or logics even they didn't know whats in the code 🙄 + had more issues. So I have an idea of recruiting several interns like 2-3 guys and ask them to do the projects under my supervision. I ran a small company about 2yrs ago with 3 interns. This is how I did it. I am happy to teach them everything I know + I am planning to pay minimum of 30,000 per month and maximum internship period is 6 months and Remote work. Since these are my products, I am not planning to put much of pressure on them. Just need around 8Hrs of work on the weekdays. And if they need to go to the university those are excused also. And I have more than 100 courses I have purchased from Udemy for me and I give access to those also for them. I dont like to keep them more than 6 months as interns even they like to stay. I don't have the budget yet to promote them to ASE and pay at least 50-80K to them. So now my question is, is it okay if I ask them to find a company for ASE position after 6 months? Then hiring a new batch of interns to continue the projects. Or is there any better way of doing this?
