Samsung will put technology acquired from connected car company Harman in the speakers, which will be branded with the Harman label and a market name — like HTC did with “BoomSound”.Samsung acquired Connecticut-based Harman last month at a price of $8 billion. The deal is expected to close in the middle of next year.With a 4K display rumored and Daydream VR therefore a top priority, it would only make sense to bring along a more robust audio experience for consumers popping their Galaxy S8 into a headset.
