Colombia’s economy is one of the  fastest-growing in Latin America, with capital city Bogotá quickly  becoming one of the region’s most prominent business hubs, while the  city of Medellín is known for its innovation and advances in education,  politics and social development. The most biodiverse country in the  world, Colombia is the only Latin American country to border both the  Atlantic (Caribbean) and Pacific Ocean, and therefore boasts 3,208 km of  coastline with gorgeous tropical beaches. Colombia’s highest-ranked  university in both the regional and world rankings is Universidad de Los Andes, ranked 8th in Latin America and 283rd worldwide.7.
