Message: <blockquote data-quote="1sam" data-source="post: 20883534" data-attributes="member: 557062">OMAN POLICE CHIEFThis is something related to that police chief of Oman , you mentioned as a Sri Lankan person.   In Nuwara Eliya, there was a huge holiday bungalow, which was built by this so called Oman police chief in early eighties. When you go pass Gregory  lake and Magastotte (mahagasthota), municipal boundary ends, and you will find the NUWARA ELIYA  town sign just where the descent starts towards Hakgala. Just then, towards left hand side there is this huge bungalow on top of a little hill. We had a little holiday cottage right  opposite to that big bungalow, so when I was young I use to wonder around this area a lot, and even go close to that bungalow as well. It's said that huge building only have very few really big rooms, and the owner ( that Oman police chief) never visited that place as of 1988 or 89.</blockquote>
