Took about a month or more.I believe we did this trip before our son became 16 years, as there is a pass in Switzerland which allows the under 16's enjoy free or reduced rate for tourist attractions.Of course you can't take your car to Zermatt, You leave the car in a parking station close to Zermatt and they provide transport to Zermatt. Only electric cars allowed in Zermatt.
