I agree with some points and i have different opinion with some points. I have worked for several companies with different types (low salaries and high salaries). This is my experience with all of these. This is the general rule with companies like Sysco or WSO2 or anything similar. I consider these are companies pay high salaries and give high benefits. Yes as you said unlimited leaves mean you may end up working weekends and more hours. In the end you may have taken less leaves than usual employment (14 days annual and 7 days casual). This is not a big issue as long as you perform and also as long as company provides the flexibility. Then about performance. I this is common for any company who pays higher salaries. They pay higher salaries because they want exceptional people. If you don't perform you will be replaced. Since pay scales are above the market level there are so many people waiting to join :) Yes there is a problem. Unlike other fields IT is getting changed. Unlike other IT companies these companies are ahead in latest technologies. So it does not matter you have 10 years 20 years experience when there is a new technology you need to learn it. Sometimes highly skilled fresh graduate who has more time can grab fast than a 35 year old experienced engineer who has to spend time with family and kids If you want to keep up you need to sacrifice :D
