Message: <blockquote data-quote="cthabrew" data-source="post: 1174626" data-attributes="member: 6297">Over an alleged assault during a basketball game…Compton rapper The Game was in court yesterday (January 9) relating to charges that the former G-Unit man allegedly punched a rival Basketball player and pulled out a gun during a game of B-Ball.The incident took place at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in South Los Angeles.In court the judge set a trial date of February 4 2008 as The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor had previously pleaded not guilty to these charges.The judge also set a court date of January 22 2008, where he will examine claims from The Game that the LAPD have refused to give back money that was confiscated during a raid at the rapper’s home.In May last year the LAPD raided The Game’s house in connection with the alleged fracas and confiscated $44,000 which is yet to be returned.The judge could find the LAPD in contempt of court for not handing the cash back.Away from court, the rapper is reported to be fine tuning his new album rumoured to be entitled LAX.</blockquote>
