Lionel Messi is optimistic about World Cup 2010

Lionel Messi, one of the best players in the Argentine team, is very optimistic about the performance of Argentina at the World Cup 2010. Although Argentina did not play the World Cup final since 1986, Messi believes Argentina this year can win the trophy.

"I must admit that I'm looking forward to upcoming World Cup with a dose of optimism, I see no reason why Argentina could not won the World Cup trophy", said Mesi

"Our team has enough quality players and this is the most important. We are not annoyed at all not to be considered favourites. It could be a positive for us", he continued.

"We do not care what others think. We want to achieve a good result on the World Cup 2010. Qualifiers are far behind us now, we are relaxed. We will see if that brings a change in our playing style.
