They can‘t think anything else other than how to save the title. So I prefer it as it is now... I don't trust any change will be better. As you know we had beautiful dreams about Batticalow... but now what is happening. There are more evil forces than LTTE and people are in a worse trouble and no one rules the east and everyone is scared.Same can happen in North after the war ends and it can spread here too.I was happier and felt relatively much safer when there was Cease Fire. Not 100% but not so insecure as of now. I really miss it. She pampered me too much and she still does. I missed a lot of opportunities because of that dependence she habituated in me treating me like a retarded bum. I was partly saved because my father raised me independently. So I have the taste of both and know what is better. But many fathers take care of children like Ayahs and worse than mothers now.. they don't have any authority. Mothers are natural slaves and now fathers are slaves of the wives.Parents act like slaves. And children learn from parents and act like slaves for stronger people and act as dictators with weaker. These are the two ways they learn. They don’t know cooperation.I have seen parents who carry their sleeping children of Grade one. I didn’t carry my kid after he could walk by himself. Now he doesn’t allow me to hold his hand. He wants to walk alone, and I am proud of him. I raised him very much independent till he goes to Kindergarten but now he too is being spoiled a lot with pampering and the lies of the teachers. I can’t help it but I try my best to make him walk without any crutches. It is very difficult because the whole society looks at kids as retarded bums who need our help in everything. They need guidance but no help in everything.So they miss the most valuable time for learning living in parents lap. Adults Bonsai the child in a pot and then plant it in soil and try very hard to make him a tree and fail. When a kid is seven years he has habituated a learning pattern which will remain intact for the whole life. Baby starts learning as soon as it is born. My daughter was born into my hand when we were rushing to the hospital and she held my finger as soon as she was born. Now she is few months and we put her on the floor and give her a lot of things around her, not toys but news papers books, the tricycle of her brother. She studies them all the time continuously.Once, out of our stupidity, we brought something closer to her when it was out of her reach and from then onward she stopped trying and started crying as soon as something out of reach. We realized and stopped responding to her crying and now she is again trying to reach on her own. My theory for raising children is that we shouldn’t do anything which they can do by themselves. But that kind of profound thinking is quite rare here. What benefit do we have from the oil prices coming down almost 3 to 1.
