I left my car in United Motors Orugodawatta branch for it's service on 17th of January 2017. Later in the evening I found this footage in my dashboard camera. One mechanic was driving my car (for no reason), and approached to a brand new car (without a number place). But that car had a damage to the right side of front buffer. It seems that car belongs to another customer, who may have met with an accident, even before the number plate arrived. Another mechanic was bringing a car battery from that brand new vehicle and put it to my car, and both mechanics were driving my car to a location of like 50 meters away. They were transporting this brand new battery to another car, and replaced this 2nd car's old battery with the new one, and returning my car to the same place it was before. Initially I though why two healthy guys need a car, just to carry a car battery from one place to another. This entire video is nearly 6 minutes, and why they want to drive my car for 6 minutes job. Later I though, since they have CCTV cameras all over the warehouse, they wanted to hide this from the cameras. I used to left my vehicle for services, in this place before work, and later in the evening I used to collect it. I wasn't there to monitor what is actually happening. Because I kept absolute trust on this company. Because this the same place I bought my car. And this is a company, not a typical garage. I sent a copy of this video to the management. I don't know whether they are aware of this kind of things before. Anyway this happened. This video doesn't intent to give you a message not to use this place or not. But even if the car service center is a reputed company, I believe it is best to stay with your vehicle. - Facebook
