It seems that gravity causes dips in space-time and this in turn causes light to bend when it passes large masses. Black hole having an infinite gravitational field, will have an escape velocity greater than light. So yes light will not escape a black hole. It would be interesting to know what effect will such a mass cause in space-time. Possibly time dialations. But I don't think anyone have studied black holes to that far.</span></span></p></blockquote><p></p>
