Message: <blockquote data-quote="nadman" data-source="post: 4096270" data-attributes="member: 11100">Hey guys I have been having this problem for some time now.Whenever I try to boot off my ubuntu live cd the shell just keeps on loading and ubuntu does not load.I cant remember the command lines that appear but I have noticed words like "frozen" keep coming up.I have tried this with ubuntu 8.04(64bit) and ubuntu 8.10(64bit).I also tried linux mint 6 by booting it from a pen drive still the same errors came.I have also tried two versions of knoppix on my system these also failed.I have tested all the above(ubuntu,linux mint and knoppix) on virtual box and they have all worked.My system specs are-Motherboard-Asus P5W DH DeluxRAM-4GB DDR2 KingstonVGA-Asus 7300LEProcessor-Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Hard Drives-IDE primary-120GB Maxtor                    SATA-250GB Maxtor                    SATA-500GB Seagate</blockquote>
