When he fails in his attempt to make a career as a sensitive singer/songwriter, he uses his inheritance money to experiment with various new-age therapies, for his quarter life crisis. He ends up hiring a self-help guru, Dr. Levi Ellington (Powell Jones), who then moves in with him into his parents house and becomes Art’s full time life teacher. As Dr. Ellington follows Art wherever he goes, it soon turns into a funny expedition about growing up and realizing the importance of friends and family.</blockquote>
