Later, due to the government’s investigations, the two are forced to spend a weekend with Andrew’s parents in Alaska, and end up reluctantly agreeing to the family’s proposal of getting married on the same weekend. However, as they learn more about each other, the two start actually falling in love. As a result, Margaret reveals the truth in front of everyone, including the immigration officer, during the marriage ceremony. She is then given 24 hours to return to Canada and she rushes back to New York. But before she can leave, Andrew comes to New York and after declaring his love for her, proposes marriage to her.</blockquote>
