Message: <blockquote data-quote="lkdood" data-source="post: 9613857" data-attributes="member: 92282">The vehicle belonging to UNP candidate contesting the up coming  elections to the Dambulla UC Tissa Bandara Herath came under attack by a  group of thugs on Saturday afternoon allegedly led by members of the  personal security staff of Minister Janaka Bandara Tennakoon. The vehicles carrying the UNP candidate and several of his supporters  came under attack at Pittawelgolla in Dambulla with the thugs using  knives, poles and even stones to attack the vehicle. The UNP members had managed to escape the attackers after fleeing the area. A compliant has been lodged with the Dambulla police that the attackers belong to the security team of Minister Tennakoon.<a href="http://www.sundaytimes.lk/index.php/latest/5496-unp-candidates-vehicle-comes-under-attack-in-dambulla" target="_blank">st</a></blockquote>
