The government information department claimed that the UNP was behind the assault. 
 When contacted by Daily Mirror online the police confirmed that the journalists were assaulted and that the incident took place outside the premises where the UNP convention was taking place. (SD)

They have been paid by public means from you &amp; my taxes. By watching those channels do you see any unbiased news. They are working for few personal agendas. can we accept this? I think Ranil will include how state run media should act on his constitutional reform.
