It is a successor of the K510 model and is designated as Sony Ericsson K550. It has a 1.9" 262K colors display and a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus, a two-LED flash and an active lens cover. It would also boast quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, a Memory Stick Micro M2 card slot, and a FM radio - all that is housed in a body with a thickness of mere 14 mm.The K550 would also have a twin brother - the Sony Ericsson K510im which would be the first i-mode enabled mobile bearing the Cyber-shot logo and would try to build on the success of the Sony Ericsson K610im. The Sony Ericsson K550 would become commercially available to selected markets in Q1 2007 in Jet Black or Pearl White color combinations.</blockquote>
