This government has  taken Sri Lanka down the road to disaster in the socio-economic sector.      It is strange to find the very same ministers who ruined this country  now asking for a fresh mandate. How can such a group of failed ministers  develop the country,” he asked.     Mr. Hashim said the government had already spent all the funds  allocated in the Vote on Account but there was little or nothing  tangible to be seen by way of economic development in Sri Lanka.     “The Vote on Account was meant to cover expenditure up to April. But  the funds allocated have been all used up with nothing much to show by  way of socio-economic development,” he said.dailymirror</blockquote>
