We therefore call on the Sri Lankan  authorities and the managements of Sri Lankan telecommunications firms  to stop activities aimed at blocking free access in Sri Lanka to all  legitimate media websites, including Lanka-e-News. <a href="http://srilanka.usembassy.gov/pr-1nov11.html" target="_blank">US Embassy Colombo</a></blockquote>
