Until Vijaya’s death he had made valiant efforts  to search for this marvellous astrologer who gave a correct prediction.  By recollecting all these memories a journalist Ananda Padmasiri had  published a superb article to a newspaper which is appended  below.........Vijaya’s maiden film was ‘Hantane Kathawa’ while  Malani emerged from the film ‘Punchi Baba’. However they initially  portrayed roles as lovers in Timothy Weeraratna’s film ‘Me Deas  Kumatada’.
