One of the most expensive range of laptops, the Ferrari range, are built by Acer. It certainly can be used like other laptops. Define hard use. I have used several acers and non of them gave any problems. Right now I'm using an Acer Aspire. Its switched on and working continuously for 8 months (only down times are when there are extended power cuts) and its working without any incident.Earlier I have used TravelMate and that's an equally good laptop as well.</blockquote>
