Dont for one second imagine that just because the story's main character is a little girl, that this is a kids movie or even suitable for kids, cause you'll have some serious explaining to do if you show this to young children.The movie is very dark with violence, gore and child murder to boot but its at its core, its based on real fairy/folk tales instead of the watered down disney versions. In short, a masterpiece.</blockquote>
