We know that there is a power that governs everything in the universe. The power of our existence and sustenance. (If you think, you, the soul, came to exist without any power being involved, or that you don't depend on any sustenance each second, then it's a different problem).Let's think, that power wants to guide you. Do you expect that power to come to you straight away and give a talk? There are many books and theories which claim to be that power addressing you. So don't you have to examine those? To believe them you need proofs (or miracles) from those claims. Proofs come by comparing with something that you know. The knowledge of this world.
