The clear answer for why those people are suiciding is their poverty and lack of proper education to grow some amount of independence in them - and that is being done by the politicians all they want is votes they dont want these people to get educated, they want these people to fund their electoral campaigns and give support. Thats why they bring people from poorer parts of the country for the election campaigns in buses!
