If i kill someone today, I will have to face somethin equal soon.. if not immediately, the next life... kind of like a Bank Acct.. good stuff (kusal) goes in to ur acct... and bad karma (akusal) withdraws from it... the moment kusal becomes low things start gettin bad... so thats why buddhists are encouraged to practice accumulating merit (kusal)... hence all the alms givings, bodhi poojas, etcNOTE: Not ALL Buddhists practice this... But this is wat SHOULD be done... If everyone actually did think about having effects on wat they do, the world would definitely be nicer!!</blockquote>
