Some of my ideas for the question "WHY ?" (1) Some people have a problem with the fundamental concept of creation. Hence they will not look in the book(quaran) because the root itself contradicts with their beliefs. Instead they will only focus in finding errors in the book which would further improve their claim. Asking them to read the book or providing the book as a proof for divine power is not rational. (2) All terrorists in the world are not Muslims. However the terrorist label is given to muslims because of the religious agenda of muslim terrorists. The world generally fears terrorists, extremists driven through a religious madness. The label will be there as long as their are muslim terrorists. (3) Freedom of religion is not practiced among muslims. So how is it fair for them to ask the same from others? If a certain country requires women not to cover their head and if someone chooses to live in that country, that requirement should be respected and met. There are two muslim girls in the place I work and they do not wear a 'hijab' . It seems to me like this is not something women choose but rather something forced upon them by law, society and men. Give them the freedom to choose and place them in a non muslim society some will choose not to wear the hijab.(Ex: Two girls in my lab) (4) If a solution for a problem is in quran it will be with no hesitation adapted. Humans generally does not care where a solution comes from. But what needs to be understood is that what a muslim sees as a solution might not be a solution to someone else. But there is no reason to throw away a rational solution based on logics and reasoning. Again it should make sense to everyone in general not only to muslims.
