Will Smith In Fake Car Accident, Faces Fake Death November 23rd, 2009 - 6:20 pm ICT by GD Tell a Friend - By Madhuri Dey willNov.23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rumors are floating in internet land again. Looks like netizens love to kill off their celebrities. After Miley Cyrus, Lil Wayne and a host of others, it is the turn of “Men In Black” star Will Smith. This time too, Twitter seems to be the root of all evil..sorry, rumor. The rumor is quite meticulous in details; that seems to be the norm since the Lady Gaga death rumors. Zero points for originality though, the ‘death by car accident’ is a done to death idea. No one can be exactly certain where and how the rumor originated, but it may be from the tweet regarding the receiver Steve Smith. There was a tweet that said the receiver would be playing again after his car accident. The two words “will”, “Smith” and the phrase “car accident” may have been interlinked by some genius mind and given birth to the rumor. The details were probably added in later. Some reports claim that the actor was driving his Porsche through the Hollywood Hills when he lost control of the brakes and crashed. The paramedics appeared shortly but were unable to revive the actor. From the reports, it seems that the actor was apparently dead on the spot. What seems surprising is that these rumors take no time to establish themselves. Despite all the reports of celebrity deaths that abound the internet almost every week and invariably turn out to be false, people believe them without fail. Websites that deny the veracity of those reports always get posts claiming that they are true, with a host of “proofs.”
