"They (US) will frame charges against Sri Lanka for war crimes in order to haul president (Rajapaksa) before the international court in the Hague", Weerawansa stressed.  "The public must stand as one against this US action," he said. Weerawansa, the leader of the nationalist National Freedom Party (NFF) is a key ally of the president Mahinda Rajapaksa.               The NFF leader's comments came ahead of the impending Sri Lanka visits by key US officials, Steven J Rapp, the Ambassador at large on war crimes and Robert O'Blake, the Assistant Secretary of State for Central and South Asian affairs.PTI</blockquote>
