I also got the modem from a cousin. You know what? The modem didn't have drivers in XP. I gave up internet for XP!!! I didn't want to use Windows 98 and XP in dual boot. I had to choose between Internet and XP. I chose XP. It's pretty much the same with Vista now. But this time, I don't have to give up my internet connection. But if I had to, then I would choose Internet this time - at least until I bought a router which doesn't require any drivers.</blockquote>
