South Africa is another strong contender and who would have thought that England would beat New Zealand and then go on to win two consecutive Commonwealth Bank Series finals against Australia?Australia is the strongest side but they are having a few problems at the moment. The loss of Andrew Symonds has been massive so only time will tell how good they are.ALAN LAMBAustralia are clear favourites to win the ICC Cricket World Cup but New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and South Africa are all capable of winning it as well. Sri Lanka in particular is a big threat because Tom Moody has done a terrific job with the team and they should not be underestimated. Sri Lanka have a settled team, they have attacking batsmen and a match-winning bowler in Murali so they will be in with a shout.JASON GILLESPIE:Australia will win the ICC CWC. I don’t see anyone else being good enough but Sri Lanka and New Zealand are capable of causing a surprise if Australia have a bad day and they (the opposition) have a very good day.KERRY O’KEEFE:Australia is not guaranteed to win and I don’t think India will either. I think Pakistan could cause an upset because they have a very good batting and bowling line-up. Mohammad Asif is a match-winning bowler and he will cause a lot of good batsmen problems.Who do you think could be the player of the tournament?IAN HEALY:Matthew Hayden has gone from being a borderline selection to a player who could really prosper in the Caribbean. He could be the player of the ICC Cricket World Cup if he can keep reproducing the form he showed us recently."Traditionally on the Caribbean wickets the best time to bat is early in the innings, so he could do some major damage over there if he can maintain that level.
