Well known brands like Beats, Senheiser, Bose and JVC are more likely to be copied than lesser known brands like Armageddon, Beyerdynamic, Etymotic etc. So try to go for one of these with warranty.Especially if you're buying from shops in MC, Liberty Plaza, keep in mind, that nearly all the popular brands will be fakes.
