And u have no right to say winning the war is simple... it's not, ppl have to do many sacrifices for that, and the luckily our army and the other forces are doing that (even though idiots like Ranil doesnt see that) and after the war ends, mahinda can actually capitalize all the money to built the economy, and other political leaders can help him other than just waiting and searching for faults if they love this country.
the fallen and injured war heroes... the public should thank them till they live, and they should provide more funds for their well being, help ranaviru sevana, army hospital and the other government places to help the injured soldiers. and ppl can help build homes for the dead soldiers families. the remaining army will be there for further security, riot control and various other needs (like can u remember, the army played a major role when the tsunami hit SL, they worked day and nyt) so the army has stuff to do even if there is no war!!!
SO what i'm trying to say is... what;s happening now is correct, and dont worry after the war ends ppl will actually look in to the economy and they will keep an eye and surely mahinda will knw this and start building the economy, coz he wont be able to fool the ppl (he's not doing that now also)
and last but not least... i knw this coz a very close person of mine is in the army and he's been there for 37 years now... and he's a big person in the army as well... so i knw what's going on (not boasting, just proving my point)
just hang on till the war ends, then after that if u want judge mahinda... till then support him coz he's doing something good, and he's cleaning up a mess which other leaders left... and most importantly, he's trying to give us (the future generation) a peacefull country.

Whatever said and done everything finally points to WAR, it is true that our Politicians used the WAR to cover their own weaknesses but that that does not mean that WAR is not important.. after all they are politicians that's what they do
Not just in SL, all around the world! Anyway the important thing is to put an end to the WAR and then people can question this govt. and the subsequent ones since now that the WAR is over and all those excuses will not be entertained!!
Having a WAR and trying to develop a country is like trying to fill up a bottomless pot
we patch the bottom first then do what's necessary to fill the pot!
