When one carefully analyzes his activities it will not be a surprise to assume that he is directly orindirectly helping the separatist terrorists.His business empire was nourished by the then UNP Government under JRJ andRanasinghe Premadasa. He was also close to the Chandrika . His present wife and children live in the UK and therefore Raja Mahendran can be considered as a Sri Lankan citizen only for business purposes (?) His sister's husband is N.Satyendra who is a lawyer living in the UK . He is a LTTE activist and his home in London is well known as a centre for LTTE activities. He is a senior legal advisor to the LTTE. According to investigations by the financial authorities in Sri Lanka Raja Mahendran credits 20% of the profits earned by him to an account maintained under Satayendra which is presumed to be a front of the TRO according to the investigators. It was according to a master plan of the LTTE that the Maharajah took action to get into the media industry in Sri Lanka . It's role was to create a mindset to accept the LTTE terrorist outfit and to popularize 'peace' with the LTTE .At the last Presidential elections Tamil section of this media group supported the TNA and Rauff Hakkem's politics and did their best to paint Sri Lankan major political groups as enemies of the minorities. The group gave a lot of prominence to the Norwegian peace merchants and their efforts to equate the LTTE and the Sri Lankan Government. Raja Mahandran, the owner of the group acts like a terrorist who is always attempting to change his living quarters and also the appearance. His next major move is to start a channel to broadcast news throughout the day. He is trying to use a frequency he obtained during Chandrika government. He is planning to import and use a helicopters for this purpose. With his leanings to the separatist terrorist movement itwill pause a direct threat to the national security if this man and the group is given the approval to air a 24 hour news channel.Recently when a Police Officer was released by the LTTE , it was only this group who was able to broadcast the incident. In reporting the release Mahendran's outfit did their best to white wash the LTTE We have to ask why did the LTTE provide this facility to Maharajah group or why did the LTTE extend a welcome to this media group.? In thefinal analysis the objectives of the both institutions- the LTTE and Mehandran's media- are found to be identical in that creation of a separate state for 8% of the Tamils in Sri Lanka under Prabhakaran gets the top priority.With the use of vast funds in the group the Mahandran had been able to have his henchmen in many Government organizations including the Police Department. Very often when the Police organizes raids always the Sirasa or Shakthi media is there to cover the events live and tell the viewers that their media is the first to cover important events.Recently in the Parliament Mr Wimal Weerawansa bared another ruse operated by this group of using their contacts in the Parliament staff to air live proceedings of the sessions and special occasions without due approval.It will be useful to investigate whether Raj Mahendran's group is operating with the funds of their own or is receiving funds from other sources?  Have we investigated the circulation of billions of rupees owned by the LTTE and their fronts in Sri Lanka ?Isn't the attempt by Raja Mahendran to practically monopolize the media in Sri Lanka connected to the LTTE agenda ?Should the country allow the terrorists and their supporters to makeuse of country's broadcasting rights to exploit the hearts and mindsof Sri Lankans? Should the Government allow this organizations to put up transmissionfacilities in every hill top , some located in strategic places? Are we blind to allow this media organization to mislead our young people and make them an easy pray for the LTTE political ambitions?ALL SRI LANKA 'S (IRRESPECTIVE OF RACE/ETHINICITY, ETC.) WHO OPPOSE LTTE   BRUTALITY AND THE SEPARTIISM SHOULD "BOYCOTT" ALL MAHARAJA PRODUCTS AND STOP VISITING MAHARAJ ASHOPS IN SRI LANKA . IF THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES  DOING THE SAME, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES FROM THESE COMPANIES ALSO SHOULD BE  BOYCOTTED.SOME ONE SHOULD MAKE A LIST OF MOST COMMONLY SOLD "MAHARAJA PRODUCTS" AND   GIVE PUBLICITY TO THIS LIST IN LOCAL NEWS PAPERS, SO THAT PEOPLE ARE  EDUCATED ON THIS.  I.E., NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS, AS PROFITS FROM THESE SALES SEEMS TO BE  GOING TO LTTE, TO KILL PEOPLE AND DISTROY SRI LANKA.THIS IS THE MOST PEACEFUL WAY TO PUT PRESSURE ON THESE EN UNETHICAL ACTIVITES S AND DRY UP TERRORIST'S FUNDING GENERATED LOCALLY. THIS, AND SIMILAR STEPS TO MINIMIZE FUNDING TO "TERORISTS" SHOULD HELP SL, AND ATTAIN A PEACEFUL FUT</blockquote>
