    we still have great cinema. Just not as frequently as it was in the old days. BTW, one reason for good movies in that time period was the ban of foreign movies. This gave the real local movie makers a chance to produce original movies instead of copying hindi crap.
    Was there a ban of foreign movies ???
    and I agree with you that still we can see some good movies Like Garilla Marketing , Bambara Walalla, and when it comes to comedies , Sikuru Hathe was a good movie.

    during the 60s or 70s, there was a ban. A lot of great crime movies, dramas, and comedies were made during this time. Even noir movies. I think that was the golden age of SL cinema.
    BTW, Joe was in Sikuru Hathe as well right ?

    There's a very funny movie of Joe called Pancha .
    A boy follows joe and keep telling joe is his father . :D
