WAN (Wide Area Network):

උදා- හොදයි අර කලින් උදාහරණයම ගමු දැන් හිතන්න අර ආයතනයේ ශාඛා තියෙනවා කියලා වෙන නගර වල මේවා එකිනෙකට දුරින් පිහිටලා තියෙන්නේ. එතකොට ඒ සියලු නගර වල තියෙන ශාඛා එකට සම්බන්ද කරලා ගොඩ නගන පරිගණක ජාලය තමයි WAN එහෙම නැත්තම් Wide Area Network කියලා කියන්නේ.
