yeah but so called "Critical examiners" start with a translation of the main source..if they really want to thats not the way isnt it?
How many of these "Critical examiners" know what actually quran is? have the least knowledge of the language its written? know the context of it? They base their "analysis" mostly on others interpretations..

Critical examiners are not stupid enough to buy these 3rd grade lies. They have been thorough as they have been always and ask simple critical questions like "If God/Allah is almighty why he send his scripture in one language? is he discriminating people on ethnicity and language?? is his message is not for the whole mankind??.

when the vulgar and cruel inhuman content of the scriptures are exposed
The religious pundits have this lame apologetic excuse of "oh you cannot understand the scripture because you dont know the language and the meaning is lost in the translation"

HELLO! are you serious? this is almighty god who claim to have created the Man and universe ?? He cannot send his message in all the languages ? are U kidding?? almighty??

So the point here is those who "TALK " about critical examiners and some of us who jump to criticize critical examiners, donot really understand What CRITICAL THINKING or CRITICAL Examining is! :D

I agree. The language card is seriously getting old and loosing the validity.

This is not critical thinking..this is just stupid thinking and opposite of critical thinking..anyone can do this..

for example i dont have to have any knowledge in Buddhism to ask you :
"If according to Buddhism there is a reason for everything and it'll cease existing if the reason was removed, what the reason for nirvana and will nirvana vanish if that reason was removed?"

As i understand old doesn't loose validity, if at all the more something withstands the time the more people will have interest in it.

But if you say so, why are you here in an argument about whats "Sukara Maddawa"? isnt the language, meaning, context the issue here?

I don't understand why you dragged the Qu'ran here. I was not speaking about the Qu'ran at all. I was making the point that one should be free to engage in critical examinations of religions in this section. Actually, I was generally speaking about any religion, not specifically speaking about Islam.

Concerning the context, yes! I agree with you partly. The context is important. Nonetheless, only some critics ignore the context. Not all critics ignore the context. You are making a hasty generalization from the limited claim, "some critics ignore the context" to the universal claim "all critics ignore the context." This sort of generalization is logically invalid.

If Buddhists are like you, they would reply that you have to learn pali language before asking this question.

yeah thats acceptable and proves my point..I did not ask that question to get an answer, its just an example to show asking questions without knowing what you are talking about is useless and will lead to nothing except hatred..

I agree and I didn't say old has anything to do with validity. The point was language card has been used by Muslims so many times in this forum when they have no other way to explain, therefore it is getting old. Because when you use it, discussion is stuck. We will never know arabic.

Validity part is that, seeing so many such unsuccessful attempts, we know for sure that this will not add anything meaningful to the discussion other than bringing it to a complete stop. Therefor it has lost the validity.

But if you say so, why are you here in an argument about whats "Sukara Maddawa"? isnt the language, meaning, context the issue here?
Yes it is, but I fail to see what that has to do with the "language card".

For your convenience, language card here is a slang used to describe the act of "Using one's lack of ability to understand arabic, as an excuse in not being able to give a logical explanation for Quranic verses."
