    I'm not sure :rofl: I didn't watch video but from what I saw, some pseudo artist have used apparently unintentionally, a statue of buddha in one of their music vidz, and some pseudo buddhists, lacking the brains naturally, have taken offense in it and stepped forth to exterminate such acts from the face of earth.
    what baffles me is the disregard they've shown towards the teachings of Buddha himself, it's ironical that they are dumb enough to call themselves buddhists.

    a statue in somewhere doesn't mean anything. it doesn't mean the "artist" wants to express anything with it's presence. it might've come with the furniture itself and nothing to do with the idea he/she wanna express.

    and on the matter of statues of religious leaders being used with negative intentions, that should be condemned coz a religion is not something to degrade even you are not a believer of that religion.
    and what irks me most is that as twisted above mentions, pseudo protectors of religion getting high at the mere sight of a statue and flaying around like mad dogs. adhere to your religion and keep it to yourself, you can't influence the outer world and most of all why should what others do matter to you?

    what have you got against love? love, kindness tolerance, these things have been the base of many religion, even included in Buddhist teachings, besides many homes keep a statue of buddha, homes which are built on love, home in which people love and make love. I don't know your personal beliefs, I've nothing against them, and I don't care if you deliver your statue of Buddha outside before you love your wife, or if you love your wife outside of your house,
    but people who properly respect Buddhism, their religion may not see this as an insult, which it is not.
    my sole advise to you is, learn to tolerate different people, just cos theirs don't agree with your sets of beliefs doesn't mean they insult anything, you are the only person who's insulting other peoples feelings.

    so how do you know it's there for decorations? may be somebody who owns the place is a buddhist and like many buddhists, he might be keeping a statue in his place..
    anyway, don't hate them, cos nobody who's got anything to do with that video can see your hate, like Lord Buddha himself said, you are the only one who's going to burn in your hate..
    I don't think you feel good hating anything do you?
