Othello syndrome is known in US as Morbid Jelousy...
this is not exactly a disease or an illness like MDD or Bipolar..
but mere a complicated symptom.....
ppl with this syndrome has at least a more complicated psychiatric condition..
most likely...
some form of delusional psychosis....or even bipolar....
good stuff..
there's not much to add in my POV...
lol the treatments would be...
antipsychotic medications and antidepressants..
